Everything you need to start simply and calmly.
Which module should I choose to start?
For a queen or a small colony, we generally recommend XS or S modules, depending on the species. Species requiring humidity will prefer the Hydrix range, while species living in a dry environment will be more suited to the Dryx range.
What size module should I choose?
XS: ideal for a queen or a very small colony
S: perfect for small developing colonies
M: recommended for more developed colonies
L: suitable for large colonies
What is the difference between Hydrix and Dryx?
Hydrix modules have an integrated humidification system.
Dryx modules are designed for species that require little or no humidity.
What species do you recommend for beginners?
Species often recommended for beginners:
- Messor barbarus
- Lasius niger
- Camponotus nicobarensis
Which module for a queen alone?
An XS module is typically ideal for starting a foundation.
