Dryx module
The Dryx M module is the answer for large, dry-prone colonies that have grown and demand significant volume. Its large living space accommodates several hundred workers while maintaining the natural ventilation characteristic of the Dryx range—no water reservoir, no risk of excessive humidity.
Particularly suitable for Mediterranean or desert species like Cataglyphis, Tetramorium caespitum, or well-established Pheidole colonies. It can also serve as a dry storage module coupled with a Hydrix module to create a wet/dry gradient in the same setup.
Available in two gallery sizes: small/medium species and medium/large species.
- Dimensions: 12.4 x 12.4 cm
- No humidification system
- Nest cover included
- 4 connection holes
- Hatch system for stress-free expansion
- Compatible with the entire Nexus range
Note: Connectors are not included and are sold separately.

The Nexus range was designed to offer a simple, modern and scalable breeding experience. Thanks to its modular system and numerous customization possibilities, it is suitable for most common species such as Lasius, Messor, Crematogaster or most Camponotus, allowing it to accommodate both young colonies and more developed colonies.
Why our modules
Why choose our modules?
